Helen Hollick




     Helen Hollick  moved from London in 2013 and now lives on a thirteen-acre farm in North Devon, England, with her husband, daughter, son-in-law - and a variety of animals which include horses, a donkey, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens a rabbit and geese. 

     Born in London, Helen wrote pony stories as a teenager, moved to science-fiction and fantasy, and then discovered the wonder of historical fiction. Published for over twenty years with her Arthurian Trilogy, and the 1066 era, she became a ‘USA Today’ bestseller with her novel about Queen Emma The Forever Queen (titled A Hollow Crown in the UK) which is a prequel to her acclaimed novel of the events that led to the Battle of Hastings in 1066 Harold the King (titled I Am The Chosen King in the US)

     She also writes the Sea Witch Voyages, pirate-based adventures with a touch of fantasy.



     As a supporter of Indie Authors she is Managing Editor for the Historical Novel Society Indie Reviews, and inaugurated the HNS Indie Award.
